Toe Nail Reconstruction
Toenail reconciliation is a new and revolutionary technique that is becoming increasingly popular. It involves correcting damaged toenails by using a flexible polymer material set with a UV/LED light, to reconstruct the nail and restore it to its original shape and size.
While acrylic nails have been used for years to provide a similar effect, there are several benefits to choosing toenail reconciliation instead.
Firstly, toenail reconciliation is a much safe procedure than acrylic nails. Acrylic products are not deigned to be in contact with the skin. Doing so can cause patients to develop allergies. This can cause further damage to the nail bed and prevent patient from using acrylic products on their hands. Toenail reconstruction, on the other hand, is produced to be safe when in contact to the skin. In fact the product will adhere to the skin to help anchor the new nail to prevent dirt and moisture from sitting underneath the prosthetic. Moisture under the nail can lead to fungal or bacterial infections.
Secondly, toenail reconciliation is a much more comfortable option than acrylic nails. Acrylic nails can be heavy and cumbersome, and can even cause pain and discomfort when wearing shoes. Toenail reconciliation, on the other hand, is extremely lightweight making it feel just like a natural nail. It is also much more flexible than acrylic, which means that it is less likely to break or crack or cause further trauma to the natural nail.
Finally, toenail reconstruction is a much more natural-looking option than acrylic nails. With acrylic nails, there is always a risk of the nail looking fake or artificial. Toenail reconciliation, on the other hand, is virtually indistinguishable from a natural nail and can be customised to match the shape and colour of the surrounding nails. This means that you can enjoy the benefits of a beautiful, healthy-looking nail without anyone being able to tell that it is not your own nail.
Overall, toenail reconstruction is a safe, effective, and natural-looking. If you are looking to restore a damaged nail, it is definitely worth considering.
